Do you ever feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, depression, trauma, or disconnection from yourself and others? Are you wanting relief and a deeper understanding of your emotions and relationships? Do unresolved wounds, internal conflicts, life stressors, or self-destructive habits often undermine your ability to be authentic, identify your inner strength, and effectively speak up? If any of these apply, it may be time to invest in yourself and take a step toward a more empowered, balanced,
and self-compassionate life.
My approach centers on healing the mind, body, and relationships through the transformative power of Somatic therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, and Attachment-Based practices. I believe true healing occurs when we address not only the symptoms but the underlying emotional, relational, and behavioral adaptations that no longer serve us. My passion for self-development is based on the belief that mindfully turning inward is key to meaningful change.
Areas of specialization include anxiety/depressive disorders, substance/behavioral addictions, complex trauma and PTSD, grief/loss and life transition, couple’s therapy and relationship issues, sex-positive therapy, codependency and perfectionism, adolescent and early development, and social skills/executive functioning training.
I’m a deeply dedicated and committed psychotherapist. With nearly a decade of experience in mental health, I’ve worked in diverse clinical settings, including psychiatric hospitals, residential treatment centers, and private practice. While completing dual graduate degrees at University of the West, I studied both Buddhist Psychology and Marriage & Family Therapy, both of which shape my holistic approach to psychotherapy. When not in the therapy room, I enjoy spending time on the beach, golfing, or exploring a new restaurant or cafe with my wife, Heidi, and rescue dog, Tobi.
I would be honored to play a small role in decreasing your suffering and collaborating in your healing journey.
