"Hi all, I am a registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and for work I get to sit alongside clients who are navigating life concerns, anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, complex trauma, relational and identity concerns and more. Whether you’re going through life transitions; or just feeling stuck and not sure why, I enjoy sitting with and listening to the inner workings and underpinnings of your thoughts while trying to collaboratively understand what is either holding you back or keeping you from moving forward and healing.

I believe clients do best in a therapeutic setting where they feel they can be open, honest, vulnerable, and their truest self with their therapist, feeling completely unjudged and free to speak from their core.

Some therapeutic modalities that I utilize, depending on openness and needs, are conceptualizing with clients the different roles or parts they take on in in their home, work, family, and society. Oftentimes narratives from earlier experiences are being replayed and keeping clients stuck in similar roles. This is where inner child work and reparenting one’s inner child can be useful. I also utilize mindfulness and provide tools on how to be present, as well as focusing on how to be present in one’s body, and what that even means. I am a big fan of psychoeducation. I am EMDR trained and use a multicultural humanistic lens when working.  Lastly, I really enjoy working with couples who might be stuck in repetitive cycles of disagreements and cannot move forward. I also enjoy treating women’s and men’s issues, respectively.

About me: I am a single mother of two children and a college professor, teaching various sections of Anthropology, I teach different sections of Anthropology. In my free time, I really enjoy hiking, fishing, and being with my kids.

I'm looking forward to learning more about you."
